  • Day of Event Coordinator

    *This is not a one person role

    Objective

    To assist with day of event logistics.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with event director

    • Assist with event setup and breakdown

    • Support event logistics

    Commitment

    We are looking for someone who is able to commit to 3-4 hours on the day of the event.

  • Board Event Director

    Objective

    To manage outreach projects and people of the organization. In addition to working with the leadership team to provide oversight, strategic guidance, and recommendations to the executive committees regarding the organization's plans and intentions.

    Responsibilities

    • Create event plans

    • Provide guidance for event coordinators

    • Oversee event logistics

    • Coordinate with partners 

    • Manage event budget

    Commitment

    We are looking for someone who is able to commit to meetings twice every quarter per year. This organization is in the process of registering as a non-profit, so we are looking for someone who can commit to one hour a week composing and reviewing bylaws and setting principles in these early stages.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide Safekeeping of all organization records

    • Oversee Membership lists

    • Publish notices of scheduled meetings

    • Track board member terms

    • Ensure accurate contact information for leadership team

    • Managing board meeting minutes

  • Board Vice Chair 

    Objective

    To support the board chair of the organization. In addition to working with the leadership team to provide oversight, strategic guidance, and recommendations to the executive committees regarding the organization's plans and intentions.

    Responsibilities

    • In absence of Chair, coordinates facilitation of board meetings, ensures agendas and minutes are distributed, and implements the strategic plan.

    • Reports to the Board Chair.

    • Works closely with the Board Chair and  Board Members.

    • Actively recruits new board members and helps to retain current board members.

    • Provides leadership and direction to the Board of Directors.

    • Ensures transparent communication between all Board members.

    • Helps guide and mediate Board actions with respect to organizational priorities and governance concerns.

    • Represents as an ambassador for the mission at events and other activities.

    • Performs other responsibilities as assigned by the board.
